Leadership Training
Equipping the saints for
the work of the ministry is at the forefront of everything
we do.
One of the
key aspects of our mission is to inspire and encourage the
coming generations to boldly declare God's salvation and
demonstrate His life-changing power and presence. In our
ministry, we believe it is essential not only to go and make
disciples, but also to train spiritual leaders that can
guide them in their walk with Lord.
In His
Steps International is rising up leaders in Southeast Asia
to lead churches, small groups, and worship seminars. We
instill and mentor the spiritual teachings that are
necessary to effectively stand for the Lord and lead by
example. Some of teachings include: Kingdom of God, Resisting Temptation,
Spiritual Warfare, Who we are in Christ, Spiritual
Authority, How to hear the voice of God, The work of the
Holy Spirit, Spiritual Gifts, Servant Leadership and A
Lifestyle of Repentance.
We
believe that teaching and training are accomplished by
setting an example for believers, in speech, life, love,
faith, and purity through modeling the Gospel. We believe
that Spiritual Maturity is not measured by one’s learning,
but by one’s lifestyle. Because of these beliefs, we also
teach leaders how to manage their personal lives.
In
addition to teaching spiritual principles of leadership, we
also teach the leaders foundational principles of life
management, such as Marriage and family, purity, financial
responsibility, personal prayer life, and much more. These
teachings are essential for new and existing leaders,
especially in Cambodia, where there are almost no Christian
foundations for a belief system. With the acceleration of
growth of the Church in Cambodia, it is critical to lay a
sure foundation, so that when opposition and temptation
come, one is able to stand strong in Christ.
"Let your roots grow down into Christ and draw up
nourishment from him. See that you go on growing in the
lord, and become strong and vigorous in the truth, "
